01Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to learn about our work and contact us, whatever their ability, device or connection. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as our guide.
02What we have built in
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks so that screen readers can navigate them.
- Meaningful images have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons are designed for readable colour contrast.
- Layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and work when text is enlarged.
- Animations are reduced or switched off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- The hero slideshow can be paused, and moves with the arrow keys.
- Hindi text is marked as Hindi so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
03Known limitations
Some images and documents added through our content system may not yet have full descriptions, and third-party content such as Google Maps and WhatsApp is not fully under our control. We are working to improve these.
04Tell us about a barrier
If you find something on this website difficult to use, please tell us. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
